Voyager en Train
Voyager en train est un moyen de transport idéal quand vous souhaitez visiter l’Europe. Les voyages en train sont généralement rapides, pratiques et commodes dans les zones urbaines et rurales. Les gares sont généralement dans le centre-ville et vous pourrez facilement trouver une agence de location de voiture si vous devez avoir accès à une voiture ou peut-être besoin de vous aventurer dans une zone non accessible par le train.
Voyager en train est souvent pratique, même si vous avez pris l’avion à mi-chemin de votre destination. Le voyage en train fonctionne bien pour des voyages personnels ou d’entreprise, et peut être un moyen économique de transporter le personnel à une conférence, lieu de l’événement, ou de réunions. Il peut également être un moyen luxueux et confortable pour transporter les clients rapidement et efficacement. Voyager en train est une option viable pour les conférences, les réunions annuelles et d’autres événements…

Survivre à 7h de voiture
Parce que celui qui a dit « plus c’est long plus c’est bon » ne parlait assurément pas des trajets routiers!
Le week end du 8 mai je suis allée faire un petit tour en Bretagne avec mon cher et tendre, afin de vérifier que mon nom était toujours bien présent sur l’héritage et de rappeler mon bon souvenir à mes géniteurs. Mais là n’est vraiment pas le sujet! Parce que pour faire toulouse-lorient, quand on finit le travail à 19h, qu’on s’est décidé une semaine avant, et qu’on ne veut pas y laisser l’équivalent d’un aller-retour pour sydney (nan parce que lorient, la bretagne tout ça c’est sympa… mais la joie d’admirer les koalas en liberté n’a pas de comparaison possible)(bien que les mouettes soient très photogéniques, naturellement), la meilleure solution était d’y aller en voiture.
Je crois que je suis un très mauvais copilote. Je suis facilement malade, je suis…

Le grand enfumage du mois de mai 2014…
– Obliger par la fumée, le gibier à sortir de ses terriers.
« Je les enfumerai dans leur repaire infect, dussé-je être excommunié !.. »

Pendant que l’on manipule des adolescents qui ne comprennent pas le but, je cite : « Tous en jupe au lycée. Telle est l’idée de la journée «ce que soulève la jupe», qui aura lieu dans 27 lycées de l’académie de Nantes le 16 mai prochain. La machine à dupliquer les clés
Un appareil vu aux US, une machine à dupliquer les clés en moins d’une minute. Super simple à utiliser, on paie par carte bleue, on rentre la clé originale dans la fente, on sélectionne le motif et voilà le travail! Prix: 3,99$ soit 3€! En plus, on peut même dupliquer les clés de voiture! Vivement que ça arrive en France!
Wapa di Ume
There’s a strange sort of bright light darting in and out of the rice fields. It’s as if someone has a particularly strong laser pointer and is waving it around mindlessly. Like a sparkler without the sparks.
It’s not a laser, it’s a firefly…and now there are more of them.
We’re sitting on the deck outside our room at Wapa di Ume, sipping at a gin and tonic, letting the warm air brush across us, listening to the sounds of the gamelan drifting through the valley, and watching the Full Moon rise. It’s magical.
The Rooms
We chose a Lanai Rice Terrace room, with a deck that reached out into the rice paddy.
Our room was quiet, with the only noise at night being the bugs and the frogs, with the mornings heralded by the neighbourhood roosters.
When I booked our stay, I advised the resort that we were celebrating…

We have arrived in HCMC!
[From Friday May 16th – I was having some problems with the internet connecting so I could post!]
We made to to Ho Chi Minh City late last night. We walked out of the International Terminal at 11 PM or so and there were people everywhere, in hoards behind fences waiting for relatives and friends. We all felt like we were walking on the red carpet as the humidity greeted us in full force.
After almost 27 hours of travel, where I struggled to stay awake to adjust to the time change (still not sure where Thursday went), I was wide awake during the short van ride to the hotel. There were people on motorbikes everywhere, cutting inches around the van to turn corners. There were people caring lots of vegetables and plants on their backs, and one family of four on one bike! (Thankfully, they were all wearing helmets.)

It’s beautiful out but don’t let the sunshine fool you — « Baby it’s cooold, ooutside! » Being a California girl, I actually don’t mind the cold as long as the sun is out. So far so good – couldn’t ask for more!

Driving through the Sacred Valley of Peru
It was May of 2008. I zipped my plasticky waterproof shell up to my chin, leaned over the edge of the little zodiac boat, raised both arms in the air, and yelled at the top of my lungs while the waterfall plunged down on me with such force that my voice was inaudible, and my eyelids immovable. I felt so alive at that instant: it was a singular moment, not only in my traveling career, but in my life in general. And experiencing the majestic power and beauty of Iguazu Falls in Argentina was just the beginning of the life-changing experiences on my first solo round-the-world trip.

P.S i haven’t been able to post for a very long time. My laptop is broken and i had no way to transfer my photos. Thank God for Toshiba FlashAir wireless SD card that came free with my new camera I can update this blog more frequently now.

I’m thinking of incorporating a travel blog into this. I can’t update my blogger blog and wordpress is more android friendly. I’ll probably just mix it all here: Travel and photography, in my heart they are one and the same.

Riding the high speed bus
Coming back from Qsakikamajima to Miyajima with the high speed bus. First time I took a japanese high way. All passengers are sleeping. I saw beautiful łandscapes and I thought by myself: « Even the highways are clean in Japon ». When I told this to my japanese’s friends there was kind of ironic smile on her face. And I asked them how they do this ? We don’t know was the answer. What is the price to pay for ?
En cas de tremblement de terre
Nous sommes dans une maison en charpente métallique. Le propriétaire nous explique: « rester à l’intérieur de la maison est la chose la plus sûre à faire s’il y a un tremblement de terre. S’il y a du feu vous sortez par la fenêtre. Il y a toujours une échelle á l’extérieur qui mène au jardin. » « Comment faire si la terre tremble et ensuite il y a du feu ? » était ma question. « Je ne sais pas » était sa réponse.

On dit que les souks de la médina de Tunis datent du XIIIème siècle. On s’y promène pour retrouver un Orient fantasmé et sans doute très loin de la réalité économique actuelle. Novembre 2008.
