MONTRÉAL – Jamais le Centre Bell n’aura été autant silencieux qu’il l’a été mardi soir, avec 21 286 spectateurs dans les gradins.
Le moment de silence que la foule a observé à la mémoire de Jean Béliveau, avant le match entre le Canadien et les Canucks de Vancouver, a certes été le plus lourd de l’histoire de l’amphithéâtre, qui a ouvert ses portes en 1996.
Il a été suivi de la plus respectueuse des ovations. Une longue salve d’applaudissements nourris qui a ému l’épouse du plus grand capitaine de l’histoire du Canadien.
