USA earned a bronze medal in a 3-0 win against hosts Czech Republic built on a two-goal blast in the first period where Nick Bonino and Trevor Lewis were on target before Charlie Coyle wrapped it up in the third.

Russia proved too strong with a four-goal blitz in the third period to see off a spirited USA challenge for the defending champions to set up a Final showdown with Canada.
