Leonard’s second score of the game, a two-yard reception, proved to be the difference as the Riders mounted a late charge to make things interesting.

Green ended the game with 56 yards and a touchdown after making five catches. Fred Stamps led the game in receiving, getting 119 yards on seven grabs. Cato threw for 258 yards and a touchdown on 22 of 32 attempts.
