Worth Celebrating

Be Brave, and Talk

It’s what every single one of us needs, desires.

It keeps us up at night.
It soothes us to sleep.

It saves us.
It redeems us.

It’s the reason we live, and the reason we’d die.

It’s powerful.
It’s universal.

It’s the beauty within our souls.

You saw him just an hour ago, but you’d give anything to bring him right back here. His touch lights a fire within you, the beauty of his face fills you with awe. You hear his voice, it makes you shiver. You breathe him in, it makes you heavy lidded and weak. His kiss is an intense rush, you can’t get enough. You bask in the heat that is your attraction, you never want it to end.
It’s a marvel.
It’s an addiction.
It may not be the deepest, but it’s certainly the most fun.
It’s physical.
It’s electrical.
It’s I-need-to-exchange-as-many-of-my-bodily-fluids-with-you-as-possible

You get…

Fashion: 7 Steps to the Perfect Valentine’s Day Date Outfit

The Library

Hot date for Valentine’s day but don’t know what to wear? You don’t have to pain yourself with a trip to the mall — your perfect Valentine’s Day outfit could be right in your closet…or your best friend’s!

As with all dates, we never know exactly where the night will end.  You all could start at a semi-fancy dinner and end up at a dive-bar drinking cheap beer.  Lord only knows. Here are a few steps to stay in control and make sure your « look » is always appropriate without completely damaging your budget.

1) Pick your staple garment.

As you are thinking about your night, which includes: the weather, your comfort levels, the atmosphere, etc., you should first choose the one piece of clothing, or the one accessory that you have been dying to wear. Whether it is that big chunky costume necklace, or those new jeans that make your butt…

Valentine’s Day « AdoreMe » Special

For those interested.

Hey lovies, How are y’all doing today, but most especially during this time of the year? Valentine’s day is just around the corner and Love is in the air. I am positive that majority of us, ladies are super prepped up (that’s a no-brainer. Lol). As we all know, Valentine represents Love, either we are giving love or expecting love or, both. I am sure plans have been made and some plans are still in the works, in celebration of this beautiful day. Although, the truth is, not everyone has the intention of going out on this special day, some couples (that would be me. Lol). I would rather stay in and have a romantic candlelight dinner, exchange gifts etc. I know, sometimes, it gets really difficult to pick the right gifts. Sigh. But, by popular demand and history, there is one surprise that NEVER goes out of style and…

Love At All Costs

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:8 (NIV)

Let me start out by saying that I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day. I know this fact may make me unpopular, but I can assure you I can back this statement up, and that I do not say it for the reasons that immediately come to your mind.

In my somewhat cynical view, Valentine’s Day gives couples an excuse to show “love” to their significant other in an environment void of distractions, something that they don’t usually do on a regular basis. Valentine’s Day consists of the guy sacrificing a certain amount of time and money to take his girl out and to display his devotion to her. To me, actual love requires sacrifice every single day, not just on a day that somebody somewhere decided…
